Description :

  • ensuring that the cleanliness and maintenance of all guest suites, public and crew areas are maintained to a high standard
  • ensure daily inspections of guest suites and public spaces are completed, as well as operating the smooth running of the ship laundry and linen room
  • distribution and storage of guest luggage is also part of your remit, combined with the replenishment of stock items used within the Housekeeping Department
  • responsible for the Assistant Housekeeper, Linen Keeper, Laundry Master, Steward / Stewardess, Laundry Crew and Housekeeping Utilities
  • you will be required to carry out staff evaluations and training sessions


  • you have experience of working in luxury environments, ideally cruise experience
  • you will bring with you budgeting experience, as well as knowledge of the USPH and other international public health rules and regulations
  • cruise ship experience would be an advantage
  • ability to work in a team that is focused on exceeding guest expectations
  • good communication skills
  • you’ll also have a good command of English, with excellent verbal and written communication
